Account and sync

An account exists for exactly one purpose: so the same records open on several devices — your phone and your computer, say. Everything else the app does without one.

It works like this: the working copy is still in your browser. You enter transactions with no internet, and when a connection appears the app sends them to the server and picks up what you recorded on the other device. The server is not where you work — it is a courier between your devices.

No account? Sign up

Signing in: email address and password. Registration is the link at the very bottom.

Forgotten your password? Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen: a letter with a link arrives by e-mail. The link is valid for an hour and works once. It is still wiser to save the password in a password manager straight away — and if the letter never arrives, write to us and we will sort it out by hand.

The profile screen shows the state of syncing, and a “Sync now” button for when you would rather not wait.

Log out from all devices Including this one — you will need to sign in again
“No connection” — the app works as usual, it will simply send the changes later.“Sign out everywhere” signs out this device too: you will have to sign in again.

An account is free, like everything else in the app. There is no paid subscription and none is planned: nothing unlocks for money and nothing switches off without it.

The server is paid for by the developer personally, which is why the app has a support window — voluntary, and buying nothing. If keeping the server running becomes impossible, we will say so in advance: you will be able to take your data out via export, and the app will keep working locally. The details are in the Terms of Use.
